Who are we as an assembly

Our vision

CLS is a Christian assembly which believes in the power, the truth, the light and the love of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We are a family that  connects, loves and shines for God’s kingdom. At CLS we challenge everything with the word of God. We seek the presence of God and act in His power.

What we believe

In one God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit

In the plenary inspiration of the Scriptures, and that they are the only source of Christian authority. II Tim. 3: 16

In the dual nature of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. That in incarnation Deity, by virgin birth, took on humanity. Luke 1: 30-35

In the necessity of faith in Jesus Christ and repentance for salvation. Acts 16:31; Luke 13:5

In water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38; 8:38, Rom. 6:3; Gal. 3:27

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:4

In the necessity of consistent Christian living. Hebrews 12:14

In punishment with everlasting destruction. II Thess. 1:9

In the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the pre-millenial rapture of the Church. Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:17 

In the importance of living in Christian charity, which stresses the keeping of the unity of the Spirit, until we all come to the unity of the faith.
